PCN II Radiographer - £Flexible + Pension -South Wales (Permanent)
RD Recruitment (Rugby) Ltd is currently working on behalf of a leading Aerospace company based in Wales. Due to the company\'s continued growth and expansion, our client is presently recruiting for a number of NDT positions to join its newly-built site in South Wales.
Reporting to the X-Ray Team Leader, the Radiographer will be responsible for the inspection and evaluation of precision cast components using state-of-the-art digital imaging systems. Working as a valued team member as part of the X-Ray department, you will prepare parts for radiographic inspection in line with all relevant procedures and will develop radiographic techniques in line with customer specs.
The Radiographer will inspect, evaluate and sentence all digital images in line with customer specs and will also provide on the job training to Level I/Trainee Operators as required. You will also contribute to CI activities with the department and will be required, from time-to-time, to attend training courses/sessions, too.
Applicants will essentially be qualified to PCN II Radiography (Aerospace desired, although other industry sectors will be considered) and will have previous experience of Radiography. You will have good eyesight as our client operates annual vision screening and will be a hard-working team player.
It is essential that applicants note a continental shift system will be introduced early next year which you will be expected to work.
